You can pretty much diagnose your system without any computer knowledge. Basically, if it is running slowly, freezing up on you, giving you a blue screen, error messages all the time or crashing and not rebooting; then you most likely have registry problems or errors that must be fixed. These registry problems can be fixed easily by a professional, but driving to a computer specialist and leaving your computer with them for days (or weeks) can be very inconvenient and VERY costly.
